Classes are the main way in which players progress and gain abilities in Starr Fantasy. All players start with the Commoner Class which grants no bonuses or abilities.

Obtaining your first real Class

Upon reaching level 3 players will be given the option to pick a new Tier 1 class. To do this, players must be in Starr Village and open the Classes and Abilities window using the button in the bottom left of the screen that will be have an exclamation mark notification.

Clicking the Pick New Class button on the Classes and Abilities window will open a list of the first 5 available classes. These being Adventurer, Archer, Cleric, Warrior and Wizard.

Warrior, the basic melee class.

Be sure to click on the info icon for each class for more information on the skills and attributes it uses.

Once the player chooses a class, they will have 1 class point with which to pick their first ability from the Classes and Abilities window.

Ranking up Classes

Just like the players character, Classes also gain experience and rank up. Any experience granted to the player will also be added to the players class exp. Classes require substantially more experience to level than regular player experience.

Each time a player levels up they will receive 1 class point and permanent bonus points to their attributes depending on which class they chose. Classes can be leveled up to level 5, with the last level not granting a class point, limiting the total number of class points to 4 per class.

Class points can only be used to purchase abilities from their respective classes, and not from other classes, meaning there is no reason not to use them for abilities.

Obtaining more Classes

Players are capable of getting every class in the game if they choose to. In order to get a players next class, they must first Ascend to the next Echelon. Upon reaching the next Echelon level, players will need to once again reach level 3 and be in town to pick a new class.

Class Tiers

Classes are divided into 3 Tiers. The first tier consists of the 5 basic classes available to all players upon reaching level 3. The second and third tiers can be obtained once players achieve max rank in their respective previous classes.
